unable to join a table

I have tried and failed multiple times to sit at a table, a pop up saying “there was an error joining the table” just comes up. Similar to another poster below I have also been on the waitlist when my seat has come up and before I’ve even had a chance to click on confirm my seat has been given/taken by another player. I play on Chrome browser. I emailed your support but have been met with deafening silence
